The 2012 Municipal Census began on April 12. A census enumerator will be coming to your door between now and May 17. There will be a followup period with those residents who were not at home during the first visit.
The information gathered through the census helps the City to plan for future growth, forecast budgets and better communicate with residents.
If you are not available when an enumerator comes to your door, a door hanger will be left with information on when they will return and how to contact them to arrange a more suitable time for you. Please make every effort to make yourself available for a five minute survey with the enumerator.
Collection of data will wrap up on May 31, and the data entry and collation process begins. Census results will be made public upon Council's review and approval.
