Heart & Stroke Big Bike Fundraiser

On June 8th the City of Lacombe Cruizers spent a water-soaked, fun-filled afternoon pedaling together for heart health! Staff raised a total of $2,670 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. A big thank you goes out to everyone who made this event a success. And Kudos to Chantelle Burns, our top fundraiser.

The Super-Soaker battle rages on!

The Heart and Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders (and one driver provided by the Foundation) pedal through their community in support of heart disease and stroke research.

The event a vital fundraiser that continues to engage Canadians across the country. Last year, over 40,000 riders, in over 200 communities helped raise over $7 million for better cardiovascular health for Canadians through research, health promotion, and advocacy.
